Confidentiality and privilege obligations remain with the legal professional, not the platform
The use of AI tools does not diminish a professional's duty of care to their clients

4. Directory & Marketplace

The advocate directory on Rupenet Connect is an information service, not a referral or endorsement
Listing on the directory does not imply recommendation, endorsement, or guarantee of quality by Rupenet
Rupenet does not verify the competence, specialisation or quality of services of listed professionals beyond basic Bar Council registration
Users must conduct their own due diligence before engaging any professional found through the platform
Rupenet does not participate in fee arrangements between advocates and clients
All directory listings comply with Bar Council of India rules on advertising and solicitation

The platform may display legal information such as statutes, rules, judgments, notifications and legal news sourced from publicly available or licensed databases.
